Many, many thanks to all of you who made our Christmas workshop and party a resounding success. Lucy Elliot and Betsy Nininger did yeoman's work in organizing the team of elves who prepared the materials and delivered the beautiful arrangements to the nursing homes. They never could have done it without the generous contributions of beautiful greens from so many of your gardens and without the talented hands who made the arrangements.
Kudos also go to Nancy Ahlstrom, Debby Moore, Carrie Witt and Betsy Hartmeyer who orchestrated the wonderful and festive refreshments for the party. Those of you who made the extra-special sandwiches and cookies really deserve a round of applause. They were delicious!
And, special thanks to all of you who brought goodies to sell and to those of you who purchased them. Debbie Lifton and Amy Estabrook report that Ways & Means raised $560. Terrific!!!

Meeting Schedule 2011-2012
- June 4th (Monday) Annual Meeting at home of Debby Moore, 7 Westward Road, Woodbridge
- Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be held on Monday at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (123 Huntington Street in New Haven). Light lunch will be served at 11:45 and the program will start at 12:15 (and will run for an hour.) The business meeting will be conducted immediately following the program speaker.
