Thanks to you, the dedicated volunteers and American elm advocates, we are on the home stretch of our exciting and ambitious effort to reconnect New Haven with its American elms. On January 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Debbie Edwards' house, we will meet to do the following:
- Take stock of the seedlings and begin planning for moving them to their permanent homes throughout Greater New Haven.
- Review the status of the documentary film about the History of the New Haven Green. Please mark your calendars and pencil in April 24th for the tentative date of the worldwide premiere at the Whitney Humanities Center at Yale.
- Begin work scripting the self-guided walking tour of the New Haven Green, which will be supported by a cell phone based audio tour, which will be accessed through the industry leader, Guide by Cell.
Please come and continue your involvement or begin it -- it's never too late! We need your help, and you would not want to miss out on the fun, would you???
Again, the meeting is on January 26th at 10:00 a.m. at 600 Ellsworth Avenue, New Haven. Please call Debbie Edwards if you have any questions: 203-782-0485.
