There is a solar house tour and seminar in Bethany from noon to 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 19 at scheduled times The tour and seminar include all elements of "green building." Space is limited. The purpose of this corporation shall be to create interest in and promote knowledge of gardening, preservation of natural resources, and civic horticultural work in the Greater New Haven area. The Garden Club of New Haven is a member of the Garden Club of America and Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc.

Meeting Schedule 2011-2012
- June 4th (Monday) Annual Meeting at home of Debby Moore, 7 Westward Road, Woodbridge
- Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be held on Monday at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (123 Huntington Street in New Haven). Light lunch will be served at 11:45 and the program will start at 12:15 (and will run for an hour.) The business meeting will be conducted immediately following the program speaker.
