Suggested Reading:

Winter Flowers In Green House and Sun-Heated Pit, by Kathryn S. Taylor & Edith W. Gregg, Published by Charles Scribner’s Sons, N.Y.

Plant Care Tips:

Bloom Food: Add 1 T. Epson salt to 1 gallon of water.

Use once a year just before the plants normally bloom, or use a purchased bloom food of 5-50-17.

Organic Pesticide: Mix 70% rubbing alcohol with water (50-50) and add ½ to 1 tsp. Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Put mixture in a spray bottle and spray your infected plants. If you have mealy bugs, spray this mixture every three days for two weeks.

“Bayer Advanced (12 Month) Tree & Shrub Insect Control.” This is a chemical product with a low toxicity.

Use 1 T. to 1 gallon of water once a year to kill just about anything on your plants! Yikes!
