The Photography Committee welcomes one and all to join us for a "Shoot and Share" gathering on January 10, 12-2 at Amy Estabrook's house. Anyone planning on attending should between now and then shoot Winter's Beauty, easy now that we have fresh snow. The only rule for these photos is there must be plant material in them. We will gather at Amy's house to: 1) share, critique, our images, 2) review and discuss the GCA requirements of entering images into flower shows, 3) share our knowledge of how to shoot better images, 4) discuss possible shows to enter photos into, 5) discuss possibility of hiring professional photographer to do a workshop with us and determine the interest level of this idea.
By holding our "Shoot and Share" prior to the March general meeting (the topic of which is photography), we hope to determine from our first hand experience what more we would like to learn about garden photography and prepare questions for our speaker that day.
The date we have selected for the Shoot and Share is Monday, January 10 from 12:00 - 2:00, with a snow date of Sunday, January 9th from 1:00-3:00. Please RSVP to Amy by email atheyamo@snet.net or by phone at 203-248-2173 if you plan on attending.
