Elane Feldman was delighted to inherit a professionally designed, and well-maintained, twenty-year old cottage garden when she moved to Spring Glen from Chicago three years ago. Her Chicago garden was a container garden on the third floor porch of an apartment building, so she was “raring to go!”
She has been adding perennials for more color and is going to try easy care roses that will tolerate the more limited sun her garden receives. Her mostly fenced-in garden isn’t bothered by deer, but she would welcome advice on how to get rid of the slugs that trouble the abundant hosta that line her garden.
She loves the Garden Club – the very friendly, charming and experienced gardeners and the interesting programs.
Elane works part-time for real estate agent Mary Jane Burt, a “wonderful friend and employer.”
