GCA Trip to Italy

WONDERFUL, WATERFUL ITALY

September 19-30, 2010

Dear Members of The Garden Club of America,

You have been to Rome, you have been to Tuscany, you have traveled the Amalfi Coast.but
have you seen breathtaking Italian gardens and villas reflected in pristine Lakes Maggiore,
Como, and Garda and explored the lagoons, canals and secret gardens of Venice?

Please join Visiting Gardens for a very special trip in September. The summer tourists have
left, the gardens are at their finest, and we will traverse these lakes and lagoons by water and
by land. The quiet serenity of the Lake District with its verdant, terraced hillside gardens will
be an interesting juxtaposition to the bustle of activity and daily life on the waterways of
Venice. Did I forget to mention that we will experience incomparable Italian cuisine and
delectable selections of local Italian wines?

Susie Orso, British by birth and Italian by marriage, will lead this wonderful, waterful tour.
She is well known to many in GCA who have traveled with her and rave about her insider
knowledge and wide range of contacts in Italy.

GCA members are welcome to invite spouses or non GCA friends along on this trip.
