Monday May 24 Long Wharf Nature Preserve Walk with Cordalie Benoit from 11: 00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by lunch at Leon's Restaurant at 12:15 PM.

for the Walk/Lunch or just the walk or just the Lunch so that we can make reservations and know whether to wait for you in the parking lot at the Long Wharf Nature Preserve at 11:00 AM.

PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

1) Tuesday July 20: Visiting Garden tour of Harkness Memorial Botanical Gardens in Waterford, CT about a 45 minute car ride from New Haven. If you want to reserve your spot for the tour please email or call Darlene Zimmermann. Details to follow.

2) Monday September 13: Maywood Gardens in Bridgewater Connecticut about a 2 hour car ride from New Haven, and Hollandia Nurseries and gift shop in Bethel,CT (20 minutes away from Maywood Gardens along the ride back to New Haven)

About Hollandia in Bethel, Ct (check out their web site) Over the years, Hollandia has gained a reputation as Connecticut's premiere garden center, with hundreds of thousands of plants, first- class display gardens.

This tour is being limited to the first 20 people to sign-up at the request of the Garden Manager. Please email or call Darlene Zimmermann to reserve your spot. We will be car pooling...more details to follow.
