Container Garden Workshop
Wednesday, February 27, at 1:00 at the carriage house, Edgerton Park.
Bring your container and small plants to create a miniature garden or a grouping of different plants. We will provide the soil, etc. Demo of lava rock planting also.
Small plants are generally available now at the nurseries or try Lowe's,
Home Depot or the Stop and Shop. The plants should all require the same growing conditions. A mixture of leaf color, size and texture will also make your garden more interesting A ceramic container might need a plastic liner for protection. Nurseries also have heavy terra cotta plastic bowls and deep saucers in different shapes and sizes.
