GCA Flower Shows have an exciting new addition! Photography will now accompany the flower design and horticulture divisions.
Our first opportunity to compete in photography with our twenty sister clubs in Zone II will be at the GCA Zone II Annual Meeting, which will be held in Fairfield on May 28 & 29. Our club will enter the class called “Reflections.”
To select the one photograph that will represent the Garden Club of New Haven in the annual zone show, an in-club gavel competition will be held on April 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the Ag. Station, just prior to our April General Meeting.
All those wishing to submit a photo in our in-house gavel competition should read the list of GCA photography rules below and let Stephanie Rank, Photography Chair, know of their intent to enter before April 7th.
Stephanie will deliver the club’s winning photograph to Fairfield prior to the deadline for the show. The winning photograph will be returned to the photographer by the end of May.
