Arranging tip (peonies):

Cut peonies when you see no more than a dime's worth of color in the bud. Place the stem in water for an hour our more. Then remove from water and taking several stems, totally wrap them in saran wrap (this means from stem to bud). Place them in a refrigerator which does not contain any fruits or vegetables. Just lay them on a shelf. 24 hours before you want them : unwrap them, cut about an inch off the stem and place in water for 24 hours. they will be fully oprn after this time and ready for use!
