Committee Sign Ups

The Board has been conducting a drive to have as many of you as possible sign up to be a part of at least one committee which interests you. This has proven very successful and committee numbers have increased substantially. It is my hope that you will want to stay with your committee of choice for a few years. There are some members who are noticeable by their absence on any of the sign-up sheets. Not only are we missing out on your good and creative ideas but you are not adhering to the By-Laws which state that Provisional and Active members are expected to serve on committees (please see page 22 of the By-Laws) Although the Committee sign up sheets will not come out again this year, you can always call the committee chairman to sign up. I have said so often that many of these committees require only minimal time on your part but they are what makes the club work. Thanks, BN
