Upcoming Flower Show

"Puttin On The Ritz." Yes it's a great song and it is also the title of what is going to be a great flower show. Please give serious thought to entering this show either in design or horticulture. After hearing our fabulous speakers talk on how to grow and show plants we are very prepared to enter. Find in your schedule the advanced registration form. There is nothing holding you to an advanced commitment in a horticulture class if you think your plant is not ready at show time. Advance registration is required in design and you usually have to get a sub if you have to pull out. Ronnie and Susan gave us such a spectacular program on Monday and I know everyone is inspired to enter. Don't forget to sign up to Hostess or clerk. You get in for nothing and it is really so much fun. This is our show here in Conn, let's have The Garden Club Of New Haven be just as well represented as the other clubs across the state. You have proven you can do it !! This show is an easy one for horticulture and a good one to "get your feet wet" in, so get your babies ready ! We can car pool up with flowers and plants at the time or if work prevents you from going some of us will gladly take your plant or flower design along with ours.
