Blue Ribbon Winning Carpet

Thanks to the efforts of five skilled designers, the Garden Club of New Haven won a blue ribbon at the Connecticut Flower Show (recently held in Hartford). The entry was in the carpet class titled "A Grand Central Station Welcome", and the group made a 3x4 foot "carpet" out of plant material. Those who worked on the entry were Pamela Hamilton, Debbie Lifton, Lisa Lovejoy, Betsy Nininger and Debbie Edwards.
