April 1 Lecture by Dr. Kathryn Kennedy and tour of Kroon Hall

The Garden Club of New Haven and The Hixon Center for Urban Forestry at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies will co-sponsor a special program on April 1st. The event will be free and open to the public. Please do not miss this interesting tour of Kroon Hall (the new "green" building at Yale) and the exciting program featuring Dr. Kathryn Kennedy (noted expert on conserving native plants and dynamic speaker), so mark your calendar now! Parking is scarce, so please carpool.

The Center for Plant Conservation (CPC), founded in 1984, is dedicated solely to preventing the extinction of U.S. native plants. It was one of the first organizations created to meet this need and is comprised of a network of 36 leading botanic institutions.
