June 15-16 The Connecticut Valley Garden Club House and Garden Tour will present "OUTDOOR PLACES-INDOOR SPACES." Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rain or shine. Tour 5 unique homes and gardens in West Hartford/ Simsbury. Each home will have a special feature, (Flower Arranging Demonstrations, Garden Ornaments, Water Gardens and Table Settings by Lux, Bond and Green, EL Wilde and LCR.) A Farmers Market will feature heirloom plants, unusual boutique items including Jeepney Trader's "Out of Asia" collection. Great Pearls, Thai Silks & Bali Silver.
The tour properties are at 74 Whetten Rd; 20 Pilgrim Rd; 66 Pilgrim Rd; 20 Colony Rd, all in West Hartford. The Farmers Market is located at 11 Wheatogue Street, Simsbury Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $ 30.00 the day of the event and can be purchased at any of the houses.
