Daylily Sale 5/19. Get There Early!

The Connecticut Daylily Society (a FGCT affiliate member) will hold its annual Daylily Sale on Saturday, May 19, 2007 (rain date, Sunday, May 20) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Avon Senior Center grounds in Avon, CT. Arrive at 10 a.m. for best selection, as we sold out early last year!
Over 250 varieties of daylilies will be featured from prices as low as $5 for a double division as well as companion perennials from members’ gardens. All proceeds are used to fund the activities of this non-profit organization. If you still think of daylilies in terms of old fashioned yellows and oranges, come see what’s happening in the daylily world today. Luscious colors, patterns, frills, edges, and unusual shapes and forms await you. Friendly and knowledgeable society members will assist you with your selections, and color photos will help you choose flowers that will delight you.
