I recall the last time Kent was with us, approximately five years ago. He has such exuberance and quick wit, and I was impressed with his talents as a speaker and most importantly, as a Perennial Specialist.
With this lecture, Kent will explore the world of stripes, spots, splashes, and cream edges as he displays some of the many patterns of variegation. Examine the reasons behind the fascinating variety of variegated plants and discover the wide range of patterns and assorted colorful leaves. Kent will bring along many of his favorite, as well as new and unusual variegated specimens. Learn how to add color and interest in the garden all season long!
Kent owns a nursery in Churchville, PA, and will be bringing live specimens for show and for purchase following the lecture. Don't forget to bring money or a check book if you are interested in purchasing some of these marvelous plants. This is a program you definitely don't want to miss! I look forward to seeing you all on May 11th!

***PLEASE NOTE: As part of membership and horticulture involvement, we are asking all members to bring in their tulip and daffodil specimens for show. I am watching my daffodils grow bigger as I type this notice, and am excited to see the different types of daffodils and tulips that you all grow!
