President's Letter, April

“What do you most like about the Garden Club?” people often ask me. “That’s easy – the members” I consistently reply.

What have we liked most about being co-presidents of the garden club? That’s easy – the members.

This is our last newsletter as co-presidents – the two years have gone quickly. We thank each and every one of you for the commitment you have to the Garden Club and the work you have done on behalf of the Garden Club during the past two years. In the newsletter last month Debbie outlined the many projects that have been completed during the past year and projects that are continuing into next year. None of these would have been accomplished without the dedicated work of the board, committee chairs, committee members and general membership. Every member has contributed to her own capacity. Thank you, thank you.
Our club is strong and it is with pride in our members that we bequeath the leadership of the Garden Club to our next president and board.
