On June 1st, we will gather to celebrate our 85th anniversary at Martha Alexander's award-winning home at 123 Edgehill Road. Martha and Jim are the recipients of a 2009 CT Preservation Award from the CT Trust for Historic Preservation. Their home was built in 1915, so it is slightly older than our club's 85 years!
Please don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the beautiful setting, share a laugh with your friends, reminisce, celebrate long-time members, congratulate award winners, vote on the slate of officers and board members, and welcome new provisional members.
The festivities will begin at noon with a special luncheon al fresco and will culminate with the presentation of the Waterman Bowl.
What do I wear to the annual meeting?
Please wear your favorite hat, and if you are so inclined, dig out some vintage 1920's clothing, too! You knew you were saving that special frock/waist coat for some reason or other, didn't you???
Seeking Memorabilia for the annual meeting
Please call either Billie or Debbie if you have photographs and other memorabilia to share at the annual meeting. We will arrange to pick them up from you and will return them to you after the meeting.
